Pure Foundation by H&M- Review.

Hello my little Angels.

It's summer and I know that a lot of girl don't like to wear a lot of makeup, especially not foundation, so I set out on a mission to find a good foundation for the summer 2013. I have used a lot of foundations that are expencive and gives a good coverage, but now when it's summer and when it's hot and humid, I don't want to wear a thick coat of foundation, so the foundation I found is from H&M and it's super cheap.

Pure Foundation by H&M.

The first thing I have to say about this foundation is that it's perfect for my skin color, as  you all know I'm super pale so to find a perfect match is very hard, so I'm glad I found this one, I'm gonna buy a lot of them to make sure I still have some tubes, cause my guess is that they will stop selling this foundation just like H&M did with their last foundation.

It says on the tube that it is a long lasting foundation, and that is true, it last all day long. It also says that it gives a natural apperance, and it does. My face doesn't look as if I were to dip it in paint, and trust me some foundations can give you that look, which I think is horrible. And for the summer a light coverage is just what most girls would want, at least that's what I want for the summer, but the coverage is really good.

When applying this foundation I would advice you to use a regular foundation brush, and then when you have every part of the face covered in foundation, use a stipple brush to really push the product into the skin, you could use a sponge to apply it as well, but I simply find that the foundation works best with brushes. And ladies, you don't need much of this foundation to cover the whole face, a little goes a long way!

I don't use the foundation every day, cause once in a while the skin need to be able to breathe and stay clean. If you want the foundation to last even longer I suggest you use a powder on top. I paid 60 NOK for this, which is super cheap for such a good foundation and for such a good coverage.

Swatch, when not blended, I'm sorry about the glitter and the redness on my arm, I just removed some eyshadow swatches.

Swatch, when blended, you can see that it gives a good coverage because on the other swatch picture my hand was red, but the coverage is light and natura. And sorry about the glitter, it is really a matte foundation. :)

One bad thing I would say about this foundation is the smell, it's horrible, I wish they could just get a clue and start making foundations without any sort of smell, at least they should be able to make it smell good and not bad.

without foundation: really dark circles and clean skin.
With foundation, light coverage, and really natural finish.

With all the makeup on, it looks really natural well apart from the eyemakeup but with a concealer to cover up the dark circles it's awesome.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and my review, if you have this foundation, let me know what you personally think about it, and please remember this is a honest review and just my own opinion of it. Next post will be up during next week, and yes it's this makeup look that I'm wearing in my last photo, hope you like it.

  4. we don't have H&M in australia so we've never heard of Pure before. during summer we prefer something lighter like a BB cream as opposed to a foundation.
